Christopher Emmanuel "Chris" Paul (born May 6, 1985) is the American high quality basketball player of the La Clippers on the National Basketball Association (NBA). Standing at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m) and weighing 175 lb (79 kg), he's got started specifically in the position of point guard. Paul has won the NBA Rookie of the Year Honor, an Olympic gold medal, and brought the NBA in assists 3 times and steals six times. He's also been elected to seven NBA All-Star teams, six All-NBA teams, and 6 All-Defensive teams.
Paul has been a McDonald's All-American in high school. He joined Wake Forest University for 2 years of college basketball when he assisted the Demon Deacons obtain their 1st ever number one ranking. He has been selected fourth total in your 2005 NBA draft with the New Orleans Hornets and traded to the Clippers in 2011.
In December 8, 2011, the Hornets agreed to a three-team trade transferring Paul on the Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA, who owned the team during the time, nullified the offer, along with commissioner David Stern claiming New Orleans are the best off holding Paul.The clubs taking part on the deal in attempted to negotiate the league to reverse its ruling and reconstruct the offer does not help.On December 12, the Hornets approved a trade sending Paul into the Los Angeles Clippers, even so the deal broke down following the NBA added additional demands to the original conditions. 2 days later, the teams now formed the deal, transferring Paul and 2 future 2nd round draft picks in the Clippers for Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minnesota Timberwolves' unprotected first round pick on the 2012 draft. Upon the deal's conclusion, Paul announced which he could choose to the final year for his agreement and stay on La for at least two more years.
